Jitters

So Today is the Day. My First Date since about last October, and oddly enough I feel nervous, super nervous, which is almost laughable because i'm never nervous, I'm never afraid because I'm so advanced in Muggle Studdies. I have friends, I do improv, I have plenty of reason to be confident in myself, but today? I feel very very unlike myself... I've been decking out my blog all week, just for distraction, and I have to say it looks mighty fine now, I also made some new videos for my YouTube and I've decked out my Book of Mormon Portfolio, I like the fact that I've been super productive though, killed two birds with one stone

Nice Thing: Sarah, I've never seen her get Jitters around guys, she always knows what to wear, what to say etc...

Ducky

Thanksgiving was fun! I got to see Sarah IN PERSON :O it was amazing! I’ve gotten to see Sarah more in these past couple of months then I have in years, which is a really scary thought. I love seeing her though! She makes me happy ☺ and we had Thanksgiving in a muggle town of Rigby, about 25 minutes from my internship. There was a lot of muggle cooking, which was fascinating, I usually buy my food in a cafeteria, but we got to cook everything.

Well. What ELSE have I been up to? I’ve been doing Improv. It’s this muggle sport, all about comedy on the spot and all. I used to do it in my other muggle interniship, but this one is more entertaining. I am in the lower division, but I really don’t mind. And there is a good guy to girl ratio, even if 1/3 of the guys are taken or married. I love it there, and in fact that’s where I found my first date.

Meet Ducky. It’s an odd nickname, but it’s only because of this date he’s describing, you see were going to throw bread to ducks and I think were going to have spicy Mexican food. I personally can’t swallow spicy food (I wish) but you know what? I’m going to try. I’m going to try really hard. Hahaha, he is really sweet and holds open doors and everything , saves a 20 minute late night walk home….. adorable.

I decorated my apartment in Christmas decorations. There are no lights*sniff sniff *
But there is love. Plenty of love, we have a tiny tree, and there is gold garland everywhere. We have a tiny nutcracker, and ornaments on our little tree from DI and Dollar Tree. It’s cozy, as pitiful as the decorations are :/

I had to decline my first improve show, because I’m going to see Brian Stokes Mitchell in concert in the first row. Is that a good excuse? I think so!

Nice Thing: Sarah was really encouraging about romance. Which was nice because I was freaking out majorly

Halloween

Halloween is pretty lame in the Muggle World.

I swear, I studied this muggle culture pretty thoroughly and i'm the only muggle dressed up on this campus, well I made my roommate dress up but still! it's pretty saddening! Very negative festivity points.

Nice Thing: Of course- Sarah would dress up. While i'm for the sunny hubby creative costumes, she always has the pretty drop dead gorgeous ones. not cool.

The 4 groups

as bad as that sounds. There are four groups of girls at extended muggle study universities

1) The Plastics. These are the girls who look like they have removable plastic surgery, and every guy follows them
2) The Pretties: These are the girls who usually get dates, but not before the plastics
3) The "Okay's": These girls have to work for it through personality, they have AMAZING personalities, and frankly they still get amazing guys, because they have to work for them
4) The Uglies: Enough said.

I don't know where I am, i'm pretty sad at the system i'm probably the 3's. I'm not a plastic or a pretty, and I take great pride in that. I don't want to be a plastic or a pretty, no matter how many offers I get. Being a plastic or a pretty draws away from everything that I am, and who I grew up as. If you've ever seen "Less Than Perfect" by Muggle Artist P!nk, you'll know what i mean- I'm not saying i'm a thug, I was a good girl but I was never a 1 or a 2. I've always been a 4 until recently where I became a 3. It's weird.

Nice Thing: Sarah didn't really care about the system herself- but she cared that I was a four, she made this book that would've bumped me up to a 2 possibly a 1- and if i had any brains back then, i would've followed the advice. Though it was critical critiscm she looked out for me.

AUROER TRAINING!

Gah....

List of things I learned in "Auorer training"

A day in the life of Crookshanks

I love curling up on a comfy bed. A huge bed, hotel beds! I love big fluffy beds that just make you want to sleep laying down on them. Its been awhile since i've had this privledge- ive chased around kids all summer to earn 1,000 dollars to come back for my brothers senior musical and graduation. I've made the cutt with some money left (around 80$) i'm pretty proud of myself. I'm coming back!

Its 19 days until i start my other internship, I'm super .... slowly.... getting excited. More nervous, but i'm curious how i'm going to react to this internship so i'm keeping this blog to find out how i react to things, and to give other wizards/ muggles advice about this upcoming experience.

Nice thing: Sarah made twice as much this summer. Probably five times as much. darn it.

Bah-stin

I've asked the Head Master for an extension of muggle studies. She's granted it with a promise i can have an internship for the wing of muggle life habits and psycology in the Ministry of Magic when i return. it'll be four years until i return, and sadly this internship is a sad one.

I'll be leaving this four year internship that i've grown so close to for another one. and i'm pretty sad about leaving

since its summer i've decided to stay with my muggle family, i'm the only witch in the family after all. It gets hard sometimes but everyone's pretty supportive. I love going on muggle vacations, doing absolutley nothing. Muggles are so wonderfully lazy sometimes. I'm in Boston, and i'm having the time of my life next to the beach :)
